His exceptional work has allowed him to interact with individuals from various countries while serving as a respected member of the Training Academy for Cardiovascular Interventions (TACVI). Through this role, he has successfully guided over 300 Cardiologists from India, South East Asia, and the Middle East.
In terms of his academic achievements, Dr. Amit Bhushan Sharma excelled in his DM Cardiology, earning a Gold medal from the renowned KEM Hospital in Mumbai in 2007. He also began his medical journey as a Lecturer at KEM Hospital, a highly esteemed institution.
Following his time at KEM Hospital, Dr. Sharma utilized his expertise at Prime Hospitals in Hyderabad, a leading institute known for pioneering Angioplasty procedures performed manually (Trans-Radial). He served as a Consultant Intervention Cardiologist from February 2009 to June 2011. Additionally, Dr. Sharma possesses the skills to perform surgeries for closing heart defects, which he acquired through training at Bach Mai Hospital, Vietnam, the world’s largest center, in 2009.

Driven by his desire to continue learning, he joined Lansing Michigan State University in the USA once again, from July 2012 to July 2013, to receive training in Pacemakers, CRT, AICD, and Combo devices.
His skill set extends to complex Coronary Interventions, Bifurcation Lesions, Rot Ablation, Left Main Interventions, Impella Insertion, and Trans Renal Denervation for Resistant Hypertension.
Dr. Sharma holds the distinction of being one of India’s first Cardiologists to introduce the World’s Smallest Pacemaker without Open Surgery. He has successfully performed over 20,000 Coronary Interventions, with 80% of them utilizing the Trans-Radial method.
His expertise extends to complex Coronary Interventions, Bifurcation Lesions, Rot Ablation, Guideline Usages, Left Main Interventions, and Impella Insertion. Dr. Sharma is highly qualified in Trans Renal Denervation for Resistant Hypertension and excels in Peripheral Vascular Interventions.
