Dr. Amrinder Kaur Bajaj is a highly experienced Senior Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with over 50 years of work experience. She completed her MBBS from Nagpur Medical College, MD in Obs & Gynae from All India Institute of Medical Science and Senior residency from Lady Harding Hospital. Dr. Bajaj has worked in various private/corporate sector hospitals and currently serves as a Director & Senior Consultant at Medicity Hospital DLF Phase 3, Gurgaon.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bajaj has made significant contributions to the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She has served as the Head of the Department at MAX Hospital and Multi Specialty Centre Pitampura, Principal Consultant & Unit head in MAX Super Specialty Hospital Shalimar Bagh, and Unit Head and DNB guide at Jaipur Golden Hospital. She is a life member of various professional organizations including Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India – FOGSI, association of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Delhi – AOGD, Delhi Gynae Forum – DGF North, Indian Medical Association – IMA, and National Association for Reproductive and Child Health India – NARCHI.
Dr. Bajaj has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, vaginal surgery, high-risk pregnancy, and female sexuality. She has been recognized for her work with numerous awards and honors, including the Gangubai Laxminarayan Jaiswal Gold Medal and the President’s Silver Medal. In 2021, she received a Certificate for ‘Distinguished Social Service’ and in 2019, she was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for being a Woman Achiever. Dr. Bajaj is also an accomplished author and has written several books on various topics related to Obstetrics & Gynaecology including medical text books, fiction, memoirs, poetry, joke book, and wellness books on pregnancy and the adolescent girl.
Dr. Bajaj is a respected member of the medical community and has served as a speaker, chairperson, and panelist in various gynae forums. She has conducted several workshops and is the Vice president of Adolescent Wing AOGD and President of North Delhi Adolescent Committee. Her contributions to the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology have been recognized by professional organizations, medical journals, and the lay public alike.
