Dr. Renu Misra is a highly skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist with more than two decades of experience in the field. She holds an MBBS, MS, MNAMS, and FICMCH degree, and has served as Additional Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
During her tenure at AIIMS, Dr. Misra played a crucial role in the development of endoscopic surgery in India. She was one of the pioneers of this technique, which involves performing surgeries using small incisions and a camera, allowing for faster recovery times and fewer complications. She organized the first live endoscopic surgery workshop at AIIMS in July 1995, and since then, she has organized 20 symposia and training workshops for practicing gynaecologists in Delhi.
Dr. Misra’s expertise in endoscopic surgery has been widely recognized both nationally and internationally. She has delivered over 100 lectures in national and international meetings, and has also performed live surgery in various endoscopic surgery workshops and conferences around the country. Her contributions to the field have been recognized by several awards and honors, including the Best Doctor Award from the Delhi Medical Association and the Best Paper Award from the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India.
